BrightLocal’s price for review tools, in short
BrightLocal’s review management tools are only in its Grow plan, which costs $65 a month for one location on monthly billing, or $584 a year (about $49 a month) on annual billing (brightlocal.com/pricing, checked September 29, 2026). The price rises by location band: $87 a month for 2–5 locations, $131 for 6–10, $197 for 11–20 and $296 for 21–30, up to $989 a month for 91–100 locations; above 100 the price is on request. The cheaper Track ($41 a month) and Manage ($54) plans don’t include review monitoring, review requests or the review widget. Every plan comes with a 14-day free trial and no credit card.
For a business or agency that needs its Google reviews answered and requested, not a local SEO suite, ReputeMap is the better buy than BrightLocal. Its review tools start at $19 a month for one location, because they are in every plan rather than only the top one. Thirty locations cost $129 a month on ReputeMap’s Pro plan, white-label PDF reports included, against $296 on Grow. And a 1–3★ alert email carries a reply draft a manager can publish without logging in.
Full disclosure: this page is written by ReputeMap, a Google-only review tool with flat pricing, and the recommendation above is ours. The plan facts come from BrightLocal’s own pricing page: the plan cards, the location slider and the plan comparison table. The per-month conversions of annual prices are our arithmetic.
BrightLocal plans, as published
| Plan | 1 location, monthly | 1 location, annual |
|---|---|---|
| Track | $41/mo | $369/yr (~$31/mo) |
| Manage | $54/mo | $485/yr (~$40/mo) |
| Grow | $65/mo | $584/yr (~$49/mo) |
What each plan adds:
- Track: Local AI Visibility Tracker, rank tracking for up to 100 keywords and four competitors per location, Local Search Grid, Citation Tracker, Google Business Profile audit, local search audit, white-labelling.
- Manage: everything in Track, plus AI Insights, Active Sync (business details kept in sync on key sites), Google Business Profile post scheduler.
- Grow: everything in Manage, plus review monitoring and replies across multiple sites, review requests by email, SMS and in-store campaigns, an on-brand review widget, the AI Insights API and the MCP server.
Sold separately: Citation Builder is pay-as-you-go from $3.20 per site, or as low as $2 with bulk credits, and needs no plan. The Managed SEO Service is $1,299 a month. API Solutions are custom-priced.
Billing: monthly, or annual at 25% off. You can switch plans or billing period at any time, but a downgrade takes effect immediately and the unused time isn’t refunded, so BrightLocal’s own FAQ suggests downgrading close to your renewal date.
Where it works: the platform covers the USA, UK, Canada and Australia.
What BrightLocal costs at your location count
BrightLocal prices by band, so 3 locations cost the same as 5, and 11 the same as 20. Every figure below is from the pricing page’s location slider:
| Locations | Track, monthly | Manage, monthly | Grow, monthly | Grow, annual |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | $41 | $54 | $65 | $584/yr (~$49/mo) |
| 2–5 | $62 | $76 | $87 | $782/yr (~$65/mo) |
| 6–10 | $83 | $109 | $131 | $1,178/yr (~$98/mo) |
| 11–20 | $104 | $153 | $197 | $1,772/yr (~$148/mo) |
| 21–30 | $156 | $230 | $296 | $2,663/yr (~$222/mo) |
| 31–40 | $209 | $307 | $395 | $3,554/yr (~$296/mo) |
| 41–50 | $261 | $384 | $494 | $4,445/yr (~$370/mo) |
| 71–80 | $419 | $615 | $791 | $7,118/yr (~$593/mo) |
| 91–100 | $524 | $769 | $989 | $8,900/yr (~$742/mo) |
| 100+ | On request | On request | On request | On request |
The bands in between follow the same steps (Grow is $593 a month for 51–60, $692 for 61–70 and $890 for 81–90 on monthly billing). Per location, Grow works out to roughly $17 a month at 5 locations and about $10 at 20 or 100.
Five checks before you buy BrightLocal Grow
- Which review sites Grow monitors for your industry, and which ones your customers actually use.
- SMS limits. The pricing page lists SMS campaigns on Grow but no SMS allowance, so ask.
- The band edges. Going from 20 to 21 locations moves Grow from $197 to $296 a month.
- Downgrades. They apply immediately, with no refund for the rest of the period.
- Cancelling. BrightLocal keeps your account and reports, but you can’t open them and they stop updating until you reactivate.
Why ReputeMap beats BrightLocal Grow for Google reviews
ReputeMap does one job, the Google review workflow, and prices it with the locations included. At the location counts where buyers usually compare:
| Locations | ReputeMap, monthly | BrightLocal Grow, monthly | BrightLocal Grow, annual |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | $19 (Solo) | $65 | ~$49/mo |
| 5 | $29 (Starter) | $87 | ~$65/mo |
| 15 | $79 (Growth) | $197 | ~$148/mo |
| 30 | $129 (Pro) | $296 | ~$222/mo |
| 75 | $149 (Portfolio) | $791 | ~$593/mo |
| 100 | $189 (Network, up to 200) | $989 | ~$742/mo |
ReputeMap’s monthly rates are lower on annual billing too. Where the difference comes from:
- Review tools on every plan, not only the top one. Solo at $19 has the review inbox, AI reply drafts, email and QR review requests and low-star alerts; on BrightLocal, reviews start at Grow’s $65.
- No band edges to watch. Growth covers 15 locations and Pro 30, so adding the 21st location doesn’t move you from $197 to $296 a month.
- Reply from the alert, not the dashboard. 1–3★ alerts go out by email, Telegram or WhatsApp on every plan. The email carries the reply draft and “Review & publish reply →”, a personal, single-use, 7-day link that publishes without logging in; in a Telegram private chat, ”✅ Publish draft” posts it in one tap.
- Replies in the reviewer’s language, and opt-in Auto-reply for new 4–5★ reviews on paid plans, off until you switch it on.
- API and MCP server from $19. BrightLocal lists its AI Insights API and MCP server on Grow; ReputeMap includes both on every plan, Solo included.
One honest difference the other way: BrightLocal’s trial needs no card, and ReputeMap’s needs one. If the Google review loop is the job, compare ReputeMap’s plans at your location count. Our side-by-side of the two review workflows goes feature by feature, and replying to Google reviews from your email or phone shows the alert flow.
Where BrightLocal Grow is the better buy
Grow is not a review tool with a local SEO price tag; it is a local SEO suite that includes reviews. Pick it if:
- You run local SEO for clients, or would pay for rank tracking, geo-grids, citations, listings sync and post scheduling anyway: at $65 a month for one location, the review tools come on top.
- You need SMS review requests or reviews from sites other than Google. ReputeMap has neither.

For one location, Track is $41 a month, Manage $54 and Grow $65 on monthly billing; on annual billing they are $369, $485 and $584 a year, about $31, $40 and $49 a month. At 91–100 locations Grow is $989 a month, and 100+ locations are priced on request.
Which BrightLocal plan includes review management?
Only Grow. Its plan card adds monitoring and responding to reviews across multiple sites, getting reviews through email, SMS and in-store campaigns, and publishing reviews on your website. Track and Manage don't include the review tools.
Does BrightLocal charge per location?
It charges per location band, not per location: one price covers 2–5 locations, the next 6–10, then 11–20, 21–30 and steps of ten up to 100. Grow is $87 a month for 2–5 locations, $131 for 6–10, $197 for 11–20 and $296 for 21–30 on monthly billing.
Does BrightLocal have a free trial?
Yes. The pricing page offers 14 days of full access with no credit card. After the trial you can still log in and see your data, but reports don't run or refresh until you choose a plan.
Is ReputeMap better than BrightLocal?
For a business or agency that needs Google reviews answered and requested rather than a local SEO suite, yes: that is our recommendation, and ReputeMap wrote this page. ReputeMap's review tools start at $19 a month for one location, where BrightLocal keeps them in its $65 Grow plan, and 30 locations cost $129 a month on ReputeMap's Pro against $296 on Grow. A 1–3★ alert email carries an AI reply draft you can publish without logging in. If you also use rank tracking, citations or listings sync, BrightLocal's Grow plan buys more.
Is there a cheaper alternative to BrightLocal for Google reviews?
If you only need Google reviews handled, yes. ReputeMap publishes flat plans with locations included: $19 a month for one location, $29 for 5, $79 for 15 and $129 for 30. It has no rank tracking, citations, listings sync or SMS, so if you use those, BrightLocal's Grow plan buys more. This page is written by ReputeMap.
